High Standards
We offer genuinely high quality products in every aspect possible. We use sustainable packaging that minimizes waste. We source local, chemical-free ingredients as much as possible. For ingredients we can't source locally, such as our coffee and tea, we only use chemical-free/organic and fairly traded products.
Simple Methods & Balance
In order to live with intention, stay healthy and just enjoy life more, we keep things simple whenever we can. What does this look like? All of our coffee bags are hand stamped with algae ink. We sharpen blades with whetstones and a pedal grinder (pictured right). Our 5 acre homestead is mowed entirely by goats and a scythe. Doing these things manually keeps us moving and healthy. We balance this by using modern equipment when it makes sense such as our energy efficient fluid bed coffee roaster, refrigeration, etc. It is the balance of simple techniques from the past and modern technology that makes us unique.
Multi-Generational
Why do we offer a wide range of products and services? There are three of us living together and we have various skills and interests. Just as we have different responsibilities around the home and land, we bring different things to our business.
